Anyone know what was happening on Exeter Road early last evening?

The A379 by the hair pin bend was closed and there was a cherry-picker fire services appliance extended up one of the buildings, sea-side of the road. People on top of the building.

Roughly where the hairdressers Jeanettes of Knightsbridge (or similar title) is located.

Was this it?

Saturday 22nd August 2015
During the Air show we were approached by a member of the public stating that a young lad had got his leg stuck in railing along Marine Parade.
The crew proceeded on foot to the location armed with a hooligan bar to release him, I am pleased to say with no injuries.
Hooligan Bar see below.

At just after 18:00hrs we received a call to assist the ambulance service with an injured male from a roof, on arrival it was decided that the safest way to get this gentleman down would be to call for an areal appliance from Torquay.
This appliance was on scene within 20mins and the gentleman was lowered to the ground to the awaiting ambulance and transported to hospital.
