and of course if families have less money in their pockets then they have less to spend in the local (in this case Dawlish's) economy.

Plus bear in mind also that as this reduction in income for the working and non working poor is nationwide then perhaps it may be the case that families that can presently afford a holiday (just) say, down here, may not be able to do so in the near future and thus our local holiday trade may also suffer loss of income?

Cameron and Co lied their way to a victory, somebody said to me yesterday "I didnt know the benefit cuts would affect me, a full time worker I thought it was just the ones who didnt work, and I voted for them thinking they were going to get at all those on unemployment benefit ".I said you obviously watched and listened to too much propaganda then. I lost count of the many times I posted articles and warnings about what was planned. You are right Lynne in all you say, and I have a single parent daughter who works full time will be £140per month worse off after April with a mortgage to pay and just managing now. How many more are like that.

Some of us saw this coming and did warn folk about the dangers of putting Mr Cameron in power it doesn't effect me but i feel for those hard working people that will suffer. The problem is there will be more to come and it will effect traders in Dawlish as holidays will go first the knock on effect will be less staff required causing more local unemployment with folk losing there homes.

How long do you need to be on this planet for to realise that politicians, in general, are out for what they can get? They don't push to be an mp for a minimum wage, no benefits, a pension worth nothing, no influence, no power, no ego boost. Money, influence, power, ego and a cream filling of self centeredness is what they are.

At the end of the day it does not matter what party gets into power, because the machine behined the puppets never changes. Any drastic changes to the way governemnt is run is thwated at the first post.

The honest and upstanding people of this country have been sold down the river for generations and as long as they stay sheople the politicains and those who actually run the country will be happy.

Benefits, healthcare and pensions dolled out by the goverment, through taxpayers money, will be a thing of the past in several decades.
