So having a £260k mini playpark on The Lawn is going to significantly boost trade for the retailers. Parents are going to flock to Dawlish for this mini miracle. Here, here I agree with you on this one. What's the old saying, oh yes - there's a first time for everything. My impression of A.M.M was that she only appeared when there was a film crew around and then vanished as soon as it was gone.

@Lynne - i totally agree with you. if they spent the money on upgradinging the play park by the manor house they would have ample space to have an impressive play park. To build on The Lawn in the hope of revenue for the retailers and additional footfall for Dawlish is a very immature act of people who are in denile of the true statistics of this project and the twisted non facts that have ...

To spend around quarter of a million pounds on a 2nd play park based on a flawed petition by the town council is not good. Who do these town councillors think they are to go ahead with this proposal when the town is spiralling ever downwards due to lack of basic maintenance. So sad for the Dawlish residents and the town in general.
